Between 1991 and 1997 I (Paul Stenning) designed various electronic projects which were published in various UK hobby electronics magazines including Electronics Today International, Everyday Practical Electronics, Electronics - The Maplin Magazine and Electronics in Action.
Following several requests I have made most of them available on this website. They have been published online previously (early 2000's) but the website that had them changed ownership then managed to lose most of the content.
For this website I have packaged each project as a ZIP file containing the original magazine article (scanned PDF), the article text from the last online version (PDF), circuit diagrams, PCB artworks and layouts, PCB Gerber files, and any relevant data sheets and software etc. Nothing (other than presentation and packaging) has been updated since 2001.
All projects were designed for UK electrical supplies (230-240V 50Hz) and analogue video standards (625 line PAL) etc. The software accompanying a few of the projects was written for MS-DOS on the type of hardware that was available in the 1990s.
Due to component obsolescence, advances in PC operating systems and hardware, changes to video broadcasting methods, changes to electrical safety regulations and other technological advances I do not expect many of these projects to be usable or practical now.
The projects are made available for historical reference only, not for construction. I am sorry but I am unable to offer any support or assistance, and any such emails will be deleted unanswered.
